Abbé Pierre's place of memory is a vast exhibition space rich in numerous videos, photos and personal objects, presenting in a modern way the life, the message and the work of the one who was the favorite personality of the French during many years.

The scenographic route tells the story of a man with an exceptional destiny: monk, resistance member, deputy, international peace activist, builder of housing for the most deprived, creator of the Emmaus movement ...

Located in the house where he lived from 1964, the Place of Memory invites you to enter the intimacy of Abbé Pierre by discovering his room, his office and his workshop, as well as the chapel where he loved to meditate. . You will also discover the news of its fight in France and around the world, in the service of disadvantaged people.

The Abbé Pierre-Emmaüs Center offers an illustrated treasure hunt-type booklet for children in cycles 2 and 3 and, upon reservation, educational activities from Cycle 2 to Superior (educational program approved by the National Education).
