Located in the center of Forges-les-Eaux, the Museum of Resistance and Deportation is an essential stage of memory in Normandy. The museum offers two floors of historical collections dedicated to the Resistance and the Deportation. As soon as you enter, you immediately dive into the dark hours of the Nazi Occupation. German mannequins and propaganda posters leave no room for doubt. Then the collections follow the facts of resistance until the deportation of the members of the networks. The museum brings together private collections and donations made by many local or national contributors.
